		<description>Although M &amp; I are only about 1/2 way to what Scot and his wife have made it to, he&#039;s right. Marriage is about walking together. It&#039;s good if you keep talking, laugh together, cry together, work through the hard bits together, and importantly... listen to each other. Don&#039;t not say something because you think the other should know, assumption is never a good tool for communication. In turn, if one of you says something the other already knows, it doesn&#039;t mean they think you&#039;re stupid, they just can&#039;t read your mind.

Don&#039;t you love how a topic like this gets all the old marrieds giving out more advice.

I think wandering through the day-to-day together, pausing to look at the same vista, and laughing with the same friends together can never, ever, be replaced with the beautiful &#039;romantic&#039; dinner and a bunch of flowers/perfume/underwear, good (and NECESSARY) though those things are.

Go &#039;ugly&#039;, go deep.

Some of our greatest moments have been ultra-simple, or covered in baby puke etc -&gt; together.</description>
