Stats are incredibly visible when I look at my followers and following list in twitter. I think this was a pretty new concept and experience so people took time to be addicted. Only problem is...out of the 200 or so ppl on my gmail contact list, only 3 of them have a twitter account. And none of them use it. So the only people I interact with through it are bloggers. Which is ok, but it's full potential is me receiving texts from mates saying things like 'Luke is at the bottle-o, Coopers or VB?', or 'Rob is at the Kentish and settling in for the afternoon'. If Twitter does get as popular as Facebook is (which it can, according to how many ppl are using it in the States), it'll be awesome. Until then... I love the concept of Twitter.
