We go to a church in Sydney and we had the same thought. Had a top morning, met heaps of people who would never have met otherwise, did a bit of good. Nothing wrong with that I say. Firstly, If it is God's creation, and 'it's good', there is a strong case that we should be looking after it. There is a strong theological argument to care for the environment. Secondly, getting out with people other than Christians is a good form of Evangelism. Being able to connect with people and agree that we care for the environment is a great place to connect. For us at Ranges getting out with the environmental stuff has a two fold purpose.
