Geoff, I've read your comments policy. I wanted to comment on it, but there was no opportunity. Surely there's a UrbanDictionary definition in there someplace for unresolved comment tension?

Already there's -

Commentia - hitting the link only to forget your witty repartee
Commentuplicity - making the same comment as someone earlier: RT*C! (read the ****ing comments!)

Anyway.

The only problem I have with the comments policy is the team affiliation. I know Malaysian-foreign-imports-duty style if one raises the barriers in order to protect, one generally also raises the feebleometer in accordance: that said, I'm now copping stick from Essendon and Carlton supporters ref: time between drinks. Not good enough. Perhaps most sad of all I'm running out of comebacks. Carlton is OK because I've still got 20 goals to nill at halftime from last year, but Essendon is tough. Waving one's jacket around above the head really doesn't cut it anymore.

Is there a site someplace that arms Richmond supporters with appropriate comebacks?

Unless we simply shrug and admit the hopeless addiction?

PS - how about a new poll? I was the only right answer on the podcast one. It's time for something new.

I'm almost scared to comment. Anytime someone blogs about comments its obligatory for someone else to make a meaningless comment. This is mine.
