Well this is my first (and probably last) ever meme, but given that I got tagged by the lovely Christina, I figure I’d better try this at least once. Plus, last night’s advoc8 meeting has me appointed the resident weirdo, so this shouldn’t be too hard.
6 weird facts about me
- I did work experience in Year 10 at the Herald Sun – was one of the best experiences of my life, I went out with the sports journo’s and got to go to Cathy Freeman’s press conference, interview Paul Reiffel, stand around in the Australian team for International Rules’ dressing room, all the things that a 16 year old boy could normally only dream of.
- I’ve got an unhealthy addiction to statistical information – I’ve been known to spend many happy hours querying our work databases for some interesting or useful tidbit.
- My favourite type of meat is squid. I’m not outrageously addicted to seafood or anything, but I love a good squid, particularly in a tasty stir fry.
- I’m going out with a twin. But you probably already knew that. No, I haven’t ever had any trouble working out which one is which.
- I follow a German Soccer team, and they’ve actually done alright in the 1. Bundesliga. 1. FC Nurnberg. Ripper team.
- I’ve been involved in my church’s youth group for 5 years running now, which is weird for just about anyone.
OK, sorry that these were a lot less exciting than I’d hoped, but this has merely strengthened my resolve to not take these on again! And because I wouldn’t want to impart this particular brand of imposition onto anybody, I’m making use of my right to stick it to the man and not tag anyone.
I have never been tagged before and wondered what the etiquette was… thanks for sharing your six weird things about you!
Hey Geoff… this isn’t a comment at all, its just me doing some shameless self promotion. (but I did enjoy reading wierd things about you)
I posted some more on my disordered thoughts (wanged for short) blog about the way we influence things… http://www.wanordelijkegedacthen.blogspot.com
and my new one is an exploration of holistic living, I’m particularly (but not exclusively) interested in getting a ballanced perspective on what that means for MEN, after I got jealous because of laura’s celebration of women bleeding… and we don’t bleed… so what should we celeberate instead? I wonder if you can be seduced to comment over there… http://www.peaceisaparadox.blogspot.com.
If you are offended by this utilitarian use of your comment facility I will of course suffer deletion gracefully.
Thanks mate!
