Mmmm, I must admit I did cringe at the comparison of the Indonesians to the Nazi's, but I agree with his basic premise - that asking the governments who people are fleeing from whether or not their claim is genuine is inherently flawed logic.

And I did have to let the "angels" thing slide through to the keeper. I did really like the heart of what he said though.

Right... just got around to listening to this. Good but not sure about his side contention to 'entertaining angels', I fail to see the real need for God to use angels to show us poverty when there is already so much, God can be on those people and be present in the situation and you can 'feel' God there without them being anything other than an ordinary fantastic spiritual (as we all are) human being.

Another slight qualm over his rather specific Howard pointer, there are better ways to deal with things than send a 'Bible verse' the PM's way. Sure leadership is something we can and should influence where it is not upholding standards - but is pointing the finger really going to make anyone listen. I am never entirely sure quite where I stand with the whole Refugee dilema - but comparing off shore processing points and a relay back to foreign governments to the Nazi's is a bit harsh.

Otherwise what he had to say was very good.
