I like things resolved personally, but I also like the journey/the discovery or whatever other cliche you care to choose. “But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.” – Deut 4:29 Perhaps in some ways it's both. The question - because we are finite beings trying to grasp an infinte God and at the moment the questions and the discovery is all we've got. And the answer because He is the I AM. Not sure...
