Round 3: The Tyranny Of Distance

I’m afraid this week’s football review will be significantly reduced, due to me not having seen the game. The last little shred of non-conformist, anti-consumerism in me has stopped me from forking out for Foxtel (Australian cable TV for you foreigners) and as such when the Tiges play in a non-free-to-air game, I can’t see them. So I was stuck with reading about their exploits on the net and as such have very little to say about the actual game. Patrick Bowden has played well again – that boy is a bright light in a black hole of a season so far.

We were at least still in the game at half-time, should even have been leading. And Matty Richardson has found some form – kicking 4 goals. Brett Deledio outran Chris Judd as he sprinted down the field. These were the only highlights. We’ve also got a pretty grim task this week – Brisbane at the Gabba. So it’ll be 0 and 4 after 4 – the makings of a great year. Another season, another broken dream……

    :)

I suppose I shouldn’t be so pleased at the misfortune of others but it is nice to be a West Coast Eagles fan.
